Elazar Aslan

Elazar Aslan helps CEOs and other executives achieve better results through greater personal responsibility and greater service to the community at large. Elazar combines his 20 years of Buddhist practice with his classical business training from the Wharton Graduate School to create a Buddhist inspired approach to more effective leadership. Elazar has brought his meditative practice and his leadership principles to Fortune 100 companies such as American Express, ADP, Chase, D&B, MasterCard, as well as small and mid-sized companies.

Adam Chalker

Adam is a leadership coach and consultant dedicated to empowering clean-tech and environmental leaders to multiply their impact. He provides executive coaching, team performance improvement workshops, training, and leadership development programs. Adam divides his time between these roles and serving as VP, Customer Success at PlotWatt, a clean-tech growth stage start-up in Durham, NC. PlotWatt uses big data analytics and smart meter data to reduce electricity use at restaurants, hotels, and banks.

Prior to that, Adam led the Organization Performance Solutions practice for Suntiva LLC, a boutique management consulting firm in Washington D.C. He led teams of consultants to deliver leadership development, organization development, and human capital solutions across numerous projects for government and private sector clients. He delivered thousands of hours of executive coaching, team development, and leadership development workshops for clients including the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, the Food & Drug Administration, VeriSign, Fannie Mae, IBM, private equity companies, start-ups, and many others.

He completed Leadership Coaching training at Georgetown University, holds a Masters in Education and Human Development (Leadership Development concentration) from George Washington, and received a BA in Political Science from Davidson College. He’s a proud member of the Research Triangle Park Rotary Club and the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster. In his spare time, he enjoys CrossFit, yoga, traveling, and time with family.

Susan Taylor


Susan Taylor has devoted much of her life to exploring the deeper dimensions of human potential.  She collaborates with leaders and organizations to create more effective, advanced, conscious contributions to business and society.

Susan has spent over two decades of her professional career to help leaders fulfill the deeper purpose of their organizations; build coherence; create value for all stakeholders; and foster business environments that support people to learn, grow and thrive – all while delivering extraordinary financial performance.  She acts as engagement manager, executive coach and group facilitator for clients, working with them in the areas of cultural assessment, leadership development, team building, organizational development and transformation.

Susan is a certified group facilitator through Interaction Associates and a certified coach through CTA and is ICF certified.  Her expertise in Dialogue and executive coaching are routinely applied as executives shift their worldview and stage of development. Susan holds degrees in Business and Marketing and is an accredited Psychotherapist.  She is also certified in Qigong, Nature Awareness, and breathing meditation. Aligning with her values to foster human potential through the cultivation of compassion and collaboration, Susan teaches executives the practice of mindfulness and self-management as part of her executive development programs.

Susan has two daughters, Carolanne (23) and Erin (20) and resides in Hilton Head Island, SC.

Mark Thornton

Mark Thornton is the published author of Meditation in a New York Minute: Super Calm for the Super Busy.  Mark learned about stress first hand in 17 years of experience in investment banking, having served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for JP Morgan Private Bank in London.  Mark has lead and designed leadership workshops for the last decade, and has taught at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation, as well as Fortune 50/FTSE 20 clients.  Mark is sought after as a coach and trainer for elite executives.
